Patient-Centered, Integral Medicine

In my practice of osteopathic and integrative medicine, I approach each patient as a unique, whole individual who is interconnected with the environment. Through osteopathic manual treatment, I help patients to more fully engage their own self-regulating, self-healing potency so that they can experience a greater sense of balance, awareness, vitality, creativity, health and wellbeing.

How Osteopathy Can Help…

Osteopathy looks to uncover the cause of a patient’s health condition rather than attempting to merely fix the symptoms. It works well for patients who relate to themselves as a whole unit, and are looking for support of their health that appreciates them in this holistic way. With hands-on care, Osteopathy meets the patient where they are at, and supports them in integrating whatever next step they are ready to integrate in life.

How do you describe the experience of a treatment with Dawn – the magic of her hands, and the quality of her therapeutic presence is beyond words. Imagine a physician and a way of healing that uses, collaborates with, and guides your body into its natural state of balance and vitality, and that leaves you empowered with your own health in ways you have never experienced. This is the space that Dawn holds. Weeks after a session, I can still feel the treatment working on me – things continue to integrate, I feel a renewed sense of calm, openness, and clarity, and old injuries and patterns feel like they are dissolving. As a registered nurse and a martial artist, I have spent a lot of time experiencing and watching different ways of working with the body and healing, and I can honestly say that I have never experienced anything like what Dawn offers – I can’t recommend her services highly enough.”
